Definitely an odd one for his kith, even without taking into account the quite...aggressive nature of his hair. Originally from San Francisco, Thistle grew up the only child of middle-class parents. He did most of the things boys his age did -- went to public school, geeked on the computer, was fanatic about Electric Knights, trained himself to be an Olympic-level gymnast...

Okay, perhaps he was a little unusual even before his Chrysalis.

The change hit him just before his last year of high school, his fosterage nothing out of the ordinary. For some reason, perhaps a combination of his new life and other matters, he dropped out of gymnastics competatively, though everyone said he would have made the National team the next year.

After arriving in Santa Cruz, he soon hooked up with Jan and Ole, and quickly began serving as Sea Cross' Chief of Security. He's since lead a number of major expeditions, dealing with threats to both county and the city as a whole when necessary. Mind, he was also turned into a cat and kidnapped by sharks for his troubles, but these are the worries you have to cope with when you're in charge of security in a town like this. Somehow, he also finds time to maintain Fort Snelling Online, a chimnet site documenting events in town as official county reports over the last few years.
