News Samhain

There is often a great deal of confusion regarding Samhain and the Samhain
Mists.  Here is the way that system applies here on TCbT2:
 
The Samhain Mists cause all non-Shadow Court fae to forget EVERYTHING that
occurs between sunset on October 31st and sunrise the next day.  During
this time all fae, Shadow Court or not, are given fully to their Unseelie
natures.  You too can be completely unleavened by your Seelie side!
 
It is impossible to make written or photographic records of Samhain.
Anything written on Samhain will be so much gibberish come the morning;
photographic film will be over-exposed or burnt, and computer files will be
corrupted.  Injuries and reality changes made on Samhain will remain. Oaths
broken on Samhain are still broken, even if you forget the next morning.
 
Kinain do not necessarily forget everything that happens on Samhain: neither
do unenchanted mortals.  Please be aware of this when getting wild and wacky
out on the main grid -- there may be witnesses.
 
There are those who say that 'Unseelie doesn't mean nasty'.  This is very
true; many characters will regularly be Unseelie, and some of them may be
sweet as pie.  However, Samhain is your Unseelie nature without reins or
(many) lasting consequences: if you know it will be forgotten in the
morning, why keep your mouth shut?  Please be aware that Samhain RP may be
harsh, dark and even cruel, and act accordingly.
