News Reality changes

Reality changes are not made lightly, and are brought about by mechanisms
already present in the game itself.  Once reality has been altered, it is
almost impossible to restore it to its original state: this is why the
continuity system is so important.
 
From time to time, player characters will be included in the reality shift.
For an example of such a shift, look to the inclusion of Buffy's 'little
sister' on 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.  Once Dawn existed, she had always
existed, and no one questioned her.  With some reality shifts, this will
be the case.
 
It may occasionally be possible to 'discover' a reality shift.  Please
check with RP staff before assuming that you are able to do so; most shifts
are absolute.
 
Reality changes are not a mechanism via which staff will be forcing your RP
in a given direction, but are rather the direct result of player
intervention with the reality of the game itself.  No one is unable to
change the world.  You just need to be willing to live with the consequences
of doing so.
