News History

Another important RP aid on TCbT2 is the +history command.  This will
return your character's public history, divided into the following time
periods:
 
* The past six months.  Major events involving your character should
  be included in this category.
* The past year.
* Five years.
* Ten years.
* More than ten years.
 
A character that has been in the Duchy for twenty-two years would have
entries in all five categories, ranging from 'hosted this year's Samhain
celebrations' to 'the only son of the former Count of Sea Cross'.  By 
filling in all relevant categories on your own character, you can make it
easier for those around you to fit your PC into their backgrounds, thus
making for a richer RP environment for everyone involved.
