10/20: The Undersea has Invaded!
Once your character has been created, run through character generation, discussed with staff and (if desired) run through the Hall, you're ready for approval. Give your character sheet and background one last go-over, as these will not change once you have officially entered play, and (if you're satisfied) submit your character for approval by using +request. Keep in mind that you will need: * An approved concept. (Talk to Ozma for concept approval.) * Top-of-sheet info. (+help sheet) * A full background. (+help bg) * Stats. (+help stat) * +info. (+help info) * +history. (+help history) * Judgenotes. (Submit to staff via +request.) If you wish to have a Hall scene, you must +request and complete it before submitting for approval. Hall scenes will not be conducted after your PC has been approved. For more information on Hall scenes, please see 'news hall'. The approval system works on the same basis as the acceptable response times: you will hear from a staff member within three business days, not including weekends or holidays. You may be asked to change character elements before you can be approved: the more you discuss your concept with staff before requesting approval, the less likely this is to happen. Please be aware that approval is not absolute. If your character is approved as a staunch sidhe Traditionalist, and turns around to join the anti-sidhe militia a week later, staff may wish to discuss this radical personality shift with you. In such situations, characters may potentially be removed from the grid until they are resolved. (No, we won't be yanking you because of natural IC growth. However, character one-eighties in less than a week may get staff to look at you sort of funny.) Thank you for following the character generation process as we've created it, and for helping us to ensure that all characters, once approved, will be able to fit smoothly with the theme and concept behind the game. Please see 'news reapproval'.
