News Alts

We're going to be direct and up-front about this, to prevent any possible
confusion: yes, we allow multiple characters per player on this game.  It
is quite possible for the same player to be playing two or more different
'people' in the TCbT2 world.  And you know what?  We're cool with that.
 
Ethical behavior involving alts is defined as follows: the person playing
more than one character will make every effort to keep their characters
from encountering one another.  If they do encounter one another, a) staff
will be notified, and b) there will be no exchange of information or
assistance between them.  Should players be found to be taking unfair
advantage of their alts, said alts will be removed from play.
  
This requires a certain amount of trust on the part of everyone involved.
Trust that staff knows what we're doing: trust that your fellow players are
playing by the rules.
 
Players are under no obligation to reveal their alts to anyone save the
members of staff.  As some alts may be NPCs or SCPCs, we consider this to
be essential to maintaining a coherent RP environment.  We thank you for
understanding and playing fairly and ethically, however many characters you
may choose to have.
